GROUP OFFERS

One of the greatest battles being fought today is to make this world environmentally sustainable. It is increasingly our duty to recognize the intrinsic value of environmental resources and respect them to actively participate in the fight against climate change. From this objective arises the educational project ‘Discovering the Sesia River,’ designed for schools and educational facilities.

The proposal for this initiative, “Discovering the Sesia River,” is intended for young people aged between 13-18 years old.

What does Riversoul propose?

Riversoul arises from the need to offer young people an educational project that combines environmental education/span> with a pleasant and intense experience in an authentic and natural setting (not mediated by social media). The service aims to introduce young people to the world of outdoor activities and nature, stimulating their knowledge, respect, and enjoyment. Participants will have the opportunity to strengthen their relationships with peers, reinforcing crucial elements in their social lives, such as trust, responsibility, mutual listening, and respect for others. They will also explore lesser-known mountain locations and all aspects of the river environment, addressing themes like environmental sustainability and biodiversity. What better opportunity to live this educational experience than immersed in the spectacular Valsesia valley?

The Educational Project

The educational project at our center will allow young people to view the environmental reality with different eyes and observe things with a bit more curiosity and respect towards nature. We propose two different options:

1. Rafting/Canyoning and Outdoor Day (single-day program):

  • Welcome and theoretical lessons on river techniques and safety
  • River activity
  • Use of Riversoul’s green areas with volleyball, soccer, and foosball fields

2. Rafting/Canyoning and Environmental Education (two-day program with overnight camping):

  • Welcome and theoretical lessons on river techniques and safety
  • River activity
  • Classroom lessons on the world of energy and environmental sustainability
  • Use of Riversoul’s green areas with volleyball, soccer, and foosball fields

The theoretical lessons on environmental sustainability will be highly educational and conducted by two energy engineers with a strong professional background in the field of energy and environmental awareness.

MANY WATER GAMES TO STRENGTHEN BONDS

The fees include the rental of technical equipment, minibuses for river transportation, use of changing rooms, and insurance.

Participants will be required to bring:

  • Only essentials for showering
  • Swimsuit
  • Wool or fleece sweater
  • Woolen socks
  • Necessary items for sleeping in a tent (tent, sleeping bag, pillow, mattress, battery-operated flashlight, and various accessories) in case the activity is structured over 2 days.

Parents of participants will be asked to complete two forms: membership with Firaft (Italian Rafting Federation) for insurance purposes and the informed consent form.

There is the option to purchase the photography service as an EXTRA.
