RESCUE PROJECT presents at the school of kayaking and rafting center RIVERSOUL a rescue course for river kayakers. They will be 3 unforgettable days, to spend in nature, in the open air and to share their experience in the river. The course is suitable for everyone and will be held from 3rd to 5th June at Riversoul, in Scopa in Valsesia.
For 2022 the rescue school leader RESCUE PROJECT in Italy has developed new procedures and techniques for kayakers and rescuers.
In this 3-day program the goal is to give the right notions to experience the river and sport with seriousness and the right knowledge.
You will live 3 intense days where there will be all the self-help and the management of accidents related to the world of kayaking. You will learn to read the river, understand its dangers and know how to put the right securities. You will also know the different drivers that influence the management of an excursion:
- Number of kayakers;
- River difficulty;
- Technical preparation;
- Technical equipment
During the course you will face new rapids of challenging technical level with a canoe instructor, responsible for the European School and for the rescue, which will accompany you throughout the experience. The focus will be a canoe descent with a special focus on rescue and prevention.
Safety is a very important aspect that serves to complete the figure of a canoeist and should not be neglected.
In order to participate, the minimum requirements are: having your own equipment available and knowing how to run at least the II° rapids. The course also includes an in-depth study of the psychological aspects that contribute to the success of a kayak run.
